Karting
1. What age do I need to be to kart?
You can kart from the age of 8 at The Zone.
2. What do I need to wear?
Comfortable clothes are the key here. Also for ladies no open top or high heel shoes are allowed so please bring your flats! We provide you with a racing suit, helmet and gloves and we have changing facilities on site.
3. What Karts do you use?
We have 3 different types of Karts
We use Brand New Sodi 200cc RX7 (with extra input) karts for seniors (13+)
We use Sodi 120cc petrol karts for juniors (8-13
We use Formula Fun Electric Karts for 4-7 year olds
We have a fleet of 27 karts in total
4. Can I bring my own helmets and gloves?
Yes you can.
5. Do you have transport available?
Yes we can organise transport. For prices please call The Zone 046 9071623.
6. Can I arrange my own Grand Prix?
Yes of course – simply get a number of people (between 7 – 60 people) and call The Zone to book a time that suits you. Please note that at the time of booking you will be asked for credit card details and a deposit will be taken.
Mobile Paintball
1. What age do I need to be to play Paintball
You need to be 14 years of age or over to play our paintball.
2. What do I need to wear?
Comfortable clothing essential. We provide you with Suits, Mask, and Body protection. You might wish to bring gloves.
3. How can I have the Mobile Arena at my event?
It's simple – firstly ensure you have the space! This is a 5000 sq ft arena so you will need plenty of room! Secondly have the number of people who will be attending and the amount of time you want to spend paintballing. The Arena can be hired out on a per person basis or by an overall package. Contact The Zone for more information
4. What if it rains?
Well, you will get wet as the roof of the arena is mesh but this only adds to the fun!
5. What if there are high winds?
If there are high winds we may need to cancel the event for the safety of all concerned but we will look at this in advance of your day!
Indoor Paintball
1. What age do I need to be to play Paintball
You need to be 14 years of age or over to play our paintball.
2. How long do the games last?
Anything from an hour to 4 hours onwards – depending on numbers.
3. How many people do I need to have?
You need to have a minimum of 6 people however we do run open paintball sessions so please enquire about when the next one will be.
